Services for Children
The library provides a large collection of materials and a variety of programs for children.
Preschool story time is held every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
Mother Goose Time : A reading and activity time for babies and their care givers every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 .
Every Wednesday from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm, Sondra Gailey will read stories
to children at the H.B. Lee Elementary School in Dayton. Children will
receive a free book while supplies last.
Each Friday from 12:00 to 1:00, Sondra will read stories to children at the
Benson Park in Preston. Children attending this story time will also receive
a free book while supplies last.
The Story time on Wednesdays will stop during the summer but will start again
in September.
The Summer Reading Program will start on the last Tuesday in June and every
Tuesday in July from 11:00 to 12:00.
